Love Hurts (Females Perspective)

My man Jay Smooth who has a blog on XXl called Illdoctrine spoke to Elizabeth Mendez Berry who did a piece on Domestic Violence for Vibe magazine and the Chris Brown/Rhianna fracas (I always wanted to use that in a sentence).  Please note the title of this blog, I will then follow it up with Love Hurts (Males Perspective)  and then with an overall synopsis of it all and what can we take from this.

Although, I agree with her on a lot of what she is saying, I can’t agree with her on a the fact that she equates a female hitting a man in a violent manner is not the same as a man hitting a female in the same manner.  A hit is a hit, no matter who hit who.  It’s still a form of aggression out of anger that should not be directed towards anyone.  Sure female build in most cases is much smaller than a man’s.  However, that doesn’t mean that the abuse is any less affective in an emotional sense.  I have always said this, if your relationship gets to a point where you have to put your hands on each other, then it’s time to let go and move on because it’s not worth someone losing their life by death or prison time.
