Well, looky here. I took these flics of this kid gringing in SF today from 4 stories up from my office window, then wrote this blog, added the flics and published all on my Motorola Droid.

Ok,ok,ok…… I can now blog from my cell phone. I never thought I would be able to do that anytime soon, at least. Well, now it’s a reality and it’s on baby. Real spiffy if you ask me, only thing is that I haven’t firgure out how to use spellcheck yet, so bare with me all you English Professors out there, LMAO.

1st Month of Twenty-Ten

Hello all, how is it going for you?  For me, it’s going really, really fast.  I mean it seems like it was just October 2009 and 4 months later we in the 2nd month of 2010.  Is it me or is time really starting to move extra quick?  What is going on, it’s like we’re speeding up to something big.  I truly believe we are living in amazing times and are privileged to see amazing wonders, but at what cost. Who’s losing and winning, is there a game being played here.  Who are the teams?  How did they get there?  What am I doing, am I the only one who notices this?  It’s like watching the Super Bowl and not knowing whose playing.  I’m at a lost for words, I just don’t know anymore.  I’m going to pray on it.

Oh and BTW, Pink killed her Grammy performance.  There’s nothing else to say, she actually just made a new fan because I didn’t really care all that much for her, but that performance was excellent.

Giving Back to Your Community…

First off, I me say a prayer to the families in Haiti.  The poorest people always get the raw deal.  May the Lord have mercy on everyone.

Now for today’s topic, how can we give back to a community that has taken so much from us?  I was on Jermaine Dupree’s blog www.global14.com and he has a section called talk to me where he ask his readers questions.  Well, today it seems he’s in my neck of the woods in Northern California, Richmond to be exact and he was playing Xbox or something with some people from Richmond and they started talking about all the violence and crimes going on out here and in the Bay period.  So you know me, being who I am I had to put my quarter waters worth in and explained that it’s not just one thing that adding to the violence, it’s a combination of many.  I said the circumstances of today are the result of choices made yesterday.  Meaning, this is the result from broken homes, less than equally education, crime, violence and the WAR ON DRUGS of the 80’s and 90’s.  The crack babies are all grown up now and are more dysfunctional than we were because the chips are stacked against them from the get go.

Take me for instance, I grew up in the Oakland, Ca from the age of 12 and stayed until I was 25.  I came from a broken home, had a mother who was on drugs, went to schools with an educational system that was below average, but was all we had.  Sure, I fell victim to peer pressure during my teenage years.  I did things I should not have done and got away with some, but not with all.  One thing about my moms was that she might have done her thing, but when it came to raising her two sons she did not play.  Respect and education was HUGE to her and if any of those thing where not met, it was hell to pay and that’s why I spent my whole 7th grade year on punishment and getting ass whippings.  However, after that I was on point because I figured it out or should I say I figured her out.  I got a lot of leeway when I started bring home those 3.0 and above, boy I was never home, always in the street or at my boys house.

See, the point I’m trying to make is that she cared.  She cared enough to put the fear of the Lord in my butt.  See, there’s no one to care for these kids out here because they are too for gone and can’t be reached without a group or community effort.  So, how can we give back to a community that has taken so much from us?  We can’t, we just have to build another community from scratch or something because the shell that was once my community wasn’t all that great in the first place.  Back then that was the beginning of the end and today is the result and things are 100 times worst on so many levels that trying to fix it will be a losing effort because that’s what many have tried before.  We have to come anew, we have to pick up the dice and roll again because fixing something that’s shattered is crazy.  What can we do, how can we take our communities back?  Where does it start?  Who takes the first stand?  I don’t know, but something has to be done because we are losing and it has nothing to do with race, we all are losing some more than others.  Holla Back!

Who Gets Wake Up calls?

OK, skip all the pleasantries and let’s get down to business, baby.  Can you say 50 BABY!!!!!  Inside joke.  Ok, but for real I came across a video I would like yalls to take a look at and tell me what you think.  First, I’m going to say a little something about the video and the meaning I THINK it has.  The video is from Malice of the Clipse and it’s called “Wake Up Calls” and in this video, mini movie where he is going through the motions of everyday life until one day he has to start making all kind of decisions about his life.  Long story short you can take a lot from this piece because it has so many underlying meanings and blunt force trauma meanings as well.

Now to the questions for today, who gets wake up calls?  I believe we all do, hold up at least the ones who believe.  Everyone gets warnings, some stronger than others depending on  who you are and how your releationship is with the Lord.  In the video Malice quotes Hebrews 12:5 and when ever someone quotes anything from the Bible I search it for myself on my cell (technology, isn’t it great)  and sure enough it’s right there in black and white.

HAPPY FREAKING NEW YEARS, 2010…. LET IT BEGIN!

Hey, Hey, Hey….. In the words of Fat Albert.  What the hell’s been going on with yall?  Well, I had a very busy holiday season, had a lot going on.  I had a lost in my family.  My 1st second cousin, cousin Bobby was murdered in Dayton, Oh on December 7, 2009.  It hurt a lot because it was so unexpected and sudden, but I guess that how it goes when it’s your time.  He was young too, he was like 33 and he leaves behind  kids who truly miss him already.  It’s a shame, another family without a father figure.  Do you know what’s funny is that 9 times out of 10 his murders also didn’t have a father figure.  Now, that says something about how a cycle works.

You see a cycle is something that keeps going in the same direction, normally a circle without any chance of being changed or stopping.  That’ s why it’s said you have to BREAK the cycle to accomplish the impossible.  We have to break this cycle of dysfunctional families, single parent homes, black on black crime, violence  and murder.  Nevertheless, we all know that’s not going to happen because for my Christian brother and sisters out there it was already written.  It’s going to get worst before it gets better.  I know I have said that many time before, but yall should know me by now, I’m going to keep saying it until I can’t say it no mo’ (a little down south talk for ya).

I know what you are asking, but how can we change, how can we break the cycle.  That’s a simple answer, instead of looking for others to help us, we have to learn to help ourselves.  We have to take accountability for ourselves, we have to learn to be better parents and teachers, anything that does with community has to be the starting place.  See we’ve looked in the wrong direction, we looked for others for change and hope, but all along we should  have looked to each other and the Lord for strength and guidance in breaking this cycle of genocide.  Yeah, I said it because with the way we’ve been programmed to do for self today, all it has brought us is pain and death.  It’s all about the money, honey and how far you can get and what you can get, which has people without the means thinking that it’s OK to get rich or die trying, when in fact all that leads to is incarceration, death and destruction.  Ultimately, breaking down of the family structure.  Can anyone refute that?  Can you tell me I’m lying?  What are your thoughts, come on.  Talk to me.

Stop Beating a Dead Horse…..

I haven’t gotten any question or responses from my last two blogs, so I’m assuming that we are all good.  However, when you assume you make an ass out of yourself, so with that said let’s keep it moving and on to the next.

Shouts out to my family RIP Bobby, you will be missed cousin.

Now, I’m writing with a heavy heart, as you can see from the previous statement my family and I have had a lost.  My cousin was shot 4 times in the back while running from his attackers.  I really don’t know where to start, but I will say this, in these times of violence, sorrow and depression protect your neck and keep a watchful eye because anyone can become a victim at anytime.

I have a funny way at looking at death.  I mean, I’m not afraid of dying I’m more afraid of the way I’m going to die.  We’re all guaranteed 2 things in this life and that’s Death and Taxes and you can only run from both of them for so long.  Also, as all of you (all 4 of you we a cult now, lol) should know by now is that I’m a  Christian and I believe the Lord is my savior.  I don’t split roots, meaning there’s no denomination here, all that does is leave more room for the devil to divide.  So for what I’m worth and believe we all owe death.  One way or another we have to answer that call and that’s ok because we were giving life and one day we will have to give it back.  I don’t feel like death is a punishment, like that’s the end all to be all.  I know that it’s the ending of life and the beginning of eternal life, it’s a vessel to get from a place to another.  Meaning, us living here right now is the main vessel and death is the cruise vessel because we’ll rest in peace and don’t have to worry about what’s going on with the living.  At lest for now, because it seems things are changing very fast and if you believe like I do you seem something going on here on this  earth of ours.  Well, that’s another conversation all together, but you can read between the lines.

Well, I said all that to say this.  In my eyes we all have a day when we have to hold ‘em and fold ‘em and if it’s your day to fold ‘em then make sure you are prepared because this life right here my friends is not the end.  However, some people with certain lifestyles can speed up this process and bring death to themselves like a newspaper man brings the morning paper.  If you live a high risk lifestyle to eaches own, but know this for all the thrills and enjoyment of it we all have a price to pay.  May the Lord bless you and yours and Peace.

So It’s Been A Long Time……

Mr. President where the LOVE!

First let me say that I have been extremely busy for the past couple of weeks and haven’t had time or energy to blog, plus I couldn’t get to my blog from my job.  See that’s where most of my good topics come from, when I’m at work.  So, to give it to you straight and with no cut, I have decided to start trying my best to do one post a week.

During this time I have really had a lot to say, but didn’t write it down and now I have forgotten what I wanted to tell the world.  However, something has been weighing heavily on my heart.

Is it me or does it seem like our president is an extension of the previous.  I mean it is about to be a year in and what exactly has he done for the American people.  The stimulus was for the banking industry and auto industry, the health care reform is up in the air and the additional troops that are being sent to the Middle East isn’t helping none.  What is going on, I believe we (meaning the people who stood by him and voted him in by a landslide victory) have been patiently waiting for him to get situated in office and start making some changes in our country, but all I see is the big dogs getting favorable decision thrown their way.  It is also no coincident that his approval rating has fallen below 50%.  Oh, I know he waiting for the opportune time to spring the trap and show us that he is who he said he is and pull the American people out of the depths of their debt.  Or could the opportune time during his re-election when he starts to bring the troops home, help the people who lost everything to the banks that he first bailed out during the first days of his office.

How about satisfying the ones who voted his ass in office.  Ooops my fault, from the looks of it our vote didn’t matter in the first place, I think that hand goes to big business.  Those are the ones it seems he is looking out for.

I’m just going to put it out there and say it and if I offend anyone, just remember this is my opinion and I’m entitled to that, but don’t take my word for it.  You have every right to your own opinion and please back that up with your due diligence in it.  Here’s we go, from the look of how things are going right now, this historic moment in American history has been smeared because all that happen is that there’s a black face on the NWO now.  Business as usual, nothing has changed.  If you think things are going to better, think again.  They will appear to be better, getting the American people back to spending their hard-earned money on things that wasnt’ even made in the US.  A country who doesn’t build anything doesn’t have national sovereignty.  It has nothing backing them up, the last thing that did that was the auto industry and look what happen there.  So, don’t get caught up in that smoke and mirrors trick, things aren’t what they seem and alway prepare yourself and your family for the worse.

Here is something for your individual viewing pleasure.  I belive it’s time to put down the Kool Aid in Jim Jones fashion (NOT THE RAPPER) and wake up my people.  The honeymoon is over and we are in for very hard times ahead.  I’ve heard this saying being thrown around that the New World Order has a black face on it now.  Before, I would have fought tooth and nail disputing that and maybe even called someone a racist, but once you have knowledge of self and are constantly seeking truth things become a lot clearer.  Let me get this out there right now, it’s not about race, color, creed or origin.  It’s about class and where you are in the class structure means a whole hell of a lot in these coming years.  It’s about how much money you have, it’s about how much debt you have and it’s about the have and the have not’s.  If you haven’t notice the color of your skin doesn’t mean anything in the GLOBAL scheme of things.  We are in hard economic times here in the USA (and if we didn’t pay the kings ransom to the banks) it would have been a lot worse.  All those things promised to us has yet seen the light of day, why?  I have some ideas, but I want to here yours because mind may be too radical for your pleasure right now. When I talk to people about these type of things some look in amazement, others in disgust.  Pretty much like the way I looked when someone said that President was the Antichrist.  I looked at that fool is he was crazy.  Now, by no means am I saying he is now or has ever been, LOL.  But what I will say is that he is the gatekeeper and he is in the process of ushering in a New World for all to enjoy.  I can sit here and discuss pro’s and con’s with you all day, but just do two things for me.  Look up how many of our president campaign points has he follow-up on that was suppose to be beneficial to everyday American people.  You can’t count the bailout, not for American people, for bankers (oops, did I say that out loud) and you can’t say Health Care Reform because it’s a huge step toward this New World Order thing that  everyone has no idea about.  Just do some research for yourself, cut the tv off, put the iPod down and do your due diligent on research.  I mean I could point you in the right direction, but I think I’ve given you a lot of good starting points.  Here’s one of our president’s major campaign contributors, multi-billionaire George Soros.  Listen very carefully to what he says:

Hypocritical America…

I was reading an article on the disappearance of a child in Florida, here’s the link.

When something tragic as this happens it is to be taking seriously and as normally I would read the comments.  Well, today I was reading the comments on the article and I noticed something, there were only 17 comments about the article.  I said to myself somethings not right because if this was an article talking about some black teenager getting shot to death, someone of ethnicity getting killed, or someone getting robbed and even for that matter a dog being tortured and kill there would have been 500-1000 comment on the subject matter.

So it got me to thinking about how as a society we allow double-standards in the way we view certain things.  Take the article above, now a child has been taken.  It could have been my child, your child or a friend’s child.  So let me ask you this where the lynch mob, where’s the people yelling and screaming for someone’s neck.  According to the article there are 75 sex offenders in a 5 mile radius around the little girl house that they say authorities have checked out or are in the process of checking out.  How come the community hasn’t already done that?  Well, the reason in a nut shell is that we as American’s are complacent and fickle in what we believe, which in turn makes us hypocrites in our beliefs and values as a society.

Now tell me how a can child go missing and all it gets is a headline here, a blurp on a news station, but let someone famous do something say like ummmm…. dog fighting and all hell breaks loose.  All the media’s attention from beginning to end, full coverage non-stop.  There are children who go missing everyday, but that’s not big news, right.

I did a blog about this type of thing before where I spoke about how we as American want to be entertained and not taught.  If I do a blog about something informational, that’s teaching my reader’s something, I will get a decent response.  However, when I do a blog where I’m showing my ass and clowning or talking about sex, relationship or anything entertaining the responses are numerous.  Why is that?  Why is it I can tell you to check out a good book that will teach you something and you will let it roll by the waist side, but if I say go pick up a CD or check out a blog talking about bullshit we will rush to that.  I think it’s because we have been “dumbed-down”.  We say one thing and then do another, we don’t know if we are coming or going.

When did we become so complacent and fickle, it was a time here in America that we the people didn’t stand for none it, we march, protested and boycotted everything in the ’60’s and ’70’s.  Did we get everything we were fighting for back in those days?  Civil rights, even though it’s better than it was back then, hell African Americans are still getting lynched, shot by off duty cops, drugged down the streets by pick up trucks.  Women Independence, well yeah women have a lot of rights, but they still are getting the short end of the stick.  The glass ceiling is right there, only thing is they can’t see it because it’s being cleaned everyday.  Oh Vietnam War, yeah that’s over and we spat on out vets that came back alive and it took 30 plus years to fully give them medical and financial coverage they need because of the war, hell most of them are living on the street right now as we speak.  OH, I’ll tell you what happen they flooded the country with heroin, cocaine and anything else they could to distract us from revolution.  To keep this thing they have here on a steady course, they drugged America and made us  so high to the point where we don’t have any more fight left in us.

Well, that’s all I have for now, but let me leave you with this.  I was watching “Sicko” by Michael Moore and he was interviewing a retired Parliament judge that said and I quote “The reason why we have free medical insurance here in France is because we will fight and protest until we get it, the government is scared of the people.  In America, the people is scared of the government”  When did that happen?
