BACK FROM MY DISAPPOINTING LOSS

Yeah, Yeah it’s been a while since I last posed something, but hey I was recuperating from Game six of the NBA Finals where the Fakers…. Oppppps I mean Lakers got their behinds handed to them by the Celtics.  I just want to let everyone know that I did say the Celtics were going to win at the beginning of the season, but since I had no idea the Fakers would make it and them being my team since the age of 12, I had to roll with them.  I know I might catch some flak for this one, that’s what the Fakers get for having a team full of foreign players on the roster.  i know, i know, by no means am I being racist or anything like that.  It’s just in my opinion and I am entitled to an opinion I believe the Boston Celtics had more heart than the Fakers because when it was time for the Celtics players to step up, whether a vet or a new-by they did and in a big time way.  When it was time for the Fakers to step up, they disappeared behind the backboard, literally being pushed behind the backboards.  What kind of basketball they were playing is not know to me, but they certainly didn’t show any heart in the matter.  Enough of those losers and by the way Kobe is now 3-2 win he goes to the finals, MJ was 6-0.  So, enough with the MJ comparisons, OK.

Ok, Ok..l. for all those who don’t know I’m a Los Angeles Laker fan and have been since I first start watching the NBA back in ummmmm 1985. The thing that has baffled me is that I’m watching GAME 5 OF THE NBA FINALS, WHERE THE BOSTON CELTICS ARE UP 3 GAME TO 1 ON THE LAKERS AND WHAT I’M WITNESSING IS ONE OF THE GREATEST DEFENSIVE MELT DOWNS OF A FINALS TEAM. NEVER IN ALL OF MY YEARS OF WATCHING THE FINALS (MINUS LAST YEAR BECAUSE I HATE THE SPURS AND THE LEBRON JAMES LEAD CAVALIER’S WASN’T NO COMPETITION). I CALLED THEM THE FAKERS BECAUSE NO ONE ONE THE TEAM NOT NAMED KOBE CAN GUARD AND DEFEND PAUL PIERCE AND SOMETIME KOBE CAN’T EITHER, MAKING PIERCE LOOK LIKE THE SECOND COMING. THEY ARE PLAYING MATADOR DEFENSE WHERE THEY LETTING BOSTON DRIVE TO THE LANE UNCONTESTED. DOES LAMAR ODOM OR PAO GASOL HAVE ANY FREAKING HEART? THESE GUYS ARE BEING BULLIED BY THE CELTICS AND IT’S PRETTY DAMN OBVIOUS THEY DON’T WANT NONE AND THE KILLER THING IS THAT THE CELTICS AREN’T EVEN PLAYING THEIR BEST GAME. GAME 4 SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANY INCLINATION OF THAT WHERE THERE WERE DOWN 24 POINT AND CAME BACK TO WIN. MAJOR LET DOWN, BUT FOR A PRETTY GOOD REASON. NO DEFENSE AT ALL AND A LOT OF JUMP SHOTS. WHEN THE FAKERS FINALLY GET A CLUE THAT THEY HAVE TO TAKE A CHARGE EVERY NO AND AGAIN AND DRIVE TO THE BASKET CREATING CONTACT IT WILL BE TOO LATE AND THE CELTICS WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. THIS IS THE CHAMPIONSHIP, WHERE LEGENDS ARE MADE AND WHIPS ARE PLAYED. I HOPE YOU GET IT TOGETHER FAKERS AND STOP PLAYING THE PART OF THE BULLFIGHTER.

THE NIGGER TAPE

I have yet been able to think of the right thing to say about the use of the word nigger. I still can’t fathom the thought of people still using this word in association with the the black/African-American/Negro race. I can’t believe that after all these years people still consider themselves, Nigger. Huh, what are you saying, is there a difference between being a Nigger and you being my Nigga. Ummmmmm, don’t know I guess it’s like beauty and it’s in the eye of the beholder. However, how come whenever we as black people (or whatever it is today you call us) take injustice, poverty, sorrow, the end result of slavery, in short the negative views and periods in time that Black people been through and turn that shit around and make it positive and popular and now everyone wants to be a nigga too. Only then is it bad, but it wasn’t bad when we were wallowing in our misery and being exploited and being used for free labor. Now, we have created something from nothing, the Hip Hop industry (which is world wide) and now everything we do , done and thinking about doing is being watched and monitor and censored many times before. Have you ever though about what if there was no Hip Hop what society would be like? Better off, maybe or would we have created something else for you to criticize and all the while want to be a apart of. Let it be known that not all of it has been good, but we have seen some glimpses of greatness from our era. I have lived to see some amazing things and you know what? We are heading for some even better times. Everything comes full circle and they said Hip Hop was dead and I could see all the big smiles across the faces of the people who would love that. Let me ask you, can you plant a rose in the ghetto and expect that rose to grow? It’s not over baby, it’s just beginning.

I’m back!!!!!!!

Hey all, I’m back from a little vacation I took for my birthday to Las Vegas for memeorial day and let me tell you I had a ball. My girl and some of her friends and family went and met some of my family and we kick it hard. OMG!!! Let me tell you it was one of the greatest times of my life. I believe we stay up for at least 48 hours straight, we were so tired , but we kept it going like when Jesus turn water into wine, LOL. We shopped, ate, drank and partied the whole time there, oh and yeah we gamble a bit, but I felt like Vegas didn’t want to give no money up so we gambled sparingly. We went to the 2 clubs in Caesar’s Hotel that was off the chain. Didn’t have any problems, the atmosphere was hella cool and we partied like rock stars baby, let me tell you. Did I mention the women, WHOA!!!!!!!!! It was a lot of them down there looking good, but you know my sweetheart and I were there showing them how it’s suppose to be done. Overall, it was great times, something I will remember for a long time.

Check this out, I got in contact with some old friend I haven’t heard from or seen in like hella years, a couple of college buddies of mine and we have planned to go back to LAS VEGAS for no other than…… the 4th of July weekend and let me tell you this, It’s about to go down again, we’s going to tear down Vegas and keep the party going. I need a POST, right now..

Ok, OK so I’m sitting here thinking about certain things that are going on in my life and around the world right now, like man this shit is getting crazy. I guess you can say my thoughts are in sort of a precarious position. I see the future as a beautiful place where the next generation will take full advantage of all opportunities given to them and make some new opportunities along the way, but on the other hand I see the future in a very dim light, where there’s nothing bright about it. Pain and struggle will be the main course of the day. I wonder how did we get to this place. I want my kids to have every opportunity available to them to make something of themselves, but with the way things are going today, we just have to pray on it and wish for the best. It’s funny looking back now on my life, being a 70’s baby (being born in the 1970’s) and growing up in the 80’s when the shit hit the fan. Man, it was the best of time and the worst, as well. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Sure there are somethings I might have done differently, but for the most part I wouldn’t change a damn thing because that is what made me who I am today.

However, times have changed and it seems every generation gets more advanced (or stupid) than the last. Maybe it’s just the whole thing about growing up and being blessed to see another day. I can remember a song by Junior “Mama Use to say” it went something like this:

OVERRULED- CA SUPREME COURT OVERTURN BAN ON SAME-SEX MARRIAGE

Don’t have much to say on this either way, wait…. I would be lying to you if I said that. There are two trains of though going through my mind right now. First, being so that I’m just a human being much like all of you reading my blog today I try not to pass judgment on my fellow human beings because I believe in a higher power who will someday judge us all. Secondly, being so that this society we live in right now is so politically correct and are easily persuaded to believe just about anything, I would have to say I am happy for the Gays in California. They are human too and deserve all the rights of anyone else in this great country. However, that’s the politically correct version of it all. Being so I believe in only one true God, who gave his only begotten son to die for OUR SINS, I must say this… let the Gays lives there lives and don’t not throw stone because as you may judge, so shall you be judge. Make no mistake about it I don’t condone it in any shape or form, but we live in a society where we have freedom and the price of that freedom is high, really high. We must understand that this country was build by MEN, who believed in Jesus and build this great county on the basic principles of the Holy Bible, but still degraded women, enslaved African’s, murder the Native Indians and drop an Atomic bomb on the Japanese. So, for the price of freedom we have today and the countless other religions we let come and enjoy this price of freedom, how can we sit back and say keep your God in your home county. NO… everyone has a choice and what you chose let no man take from you because in the end you will be the only one who will have to answer for your choices and the funny thing is, whoever your God is you might not even believe in judgment. That’s the beauty of it all, that’s why Jesus die for me, so that I could have a choice. So, let the Gays have their choice as well and let everyone in this society continue to pay for these freedoms that we oh so love and admirer until the day we will be judged. In the end I guess we will all see.

Why didn’t we hear about this?????

I’m back, sooner than expected.  Sure hope all is well out there.  Haven’t caught any slack of my previous post, as of yet.  Anyhow, let’s get to the topic.  I came across this article today concerning the topic of my previous post.

I’ll tell you why, because the next president of the United States isn’t concerned with getting into the mud slinging, name calling and negative he-said, she-said that has ruined our nation up to this point in history.  The next president of the Uniter States is more concerned with making a fundamental change in this country that is needed to pull us out of being on the brink of a modern day Great Depression.  Not following the same old good ol’boys solution to things like have us look one way and lie to us about a war that should not have taken place and is the main reason why we are in a terrible time in the US history as I write this blog.  The next president of the United State is going to tell you the truth and give you honest solutions to problems and issues that WE face as a nation.  The next president of the United States will not undermine the nations intelligence and will respect what the people are saying and the people of the nation are saying WE want, no WE NEED CHANGE, NOW.

Divide and Conquere

Well, well I’m here again to stir up some trouble, oops I mean truth. So much has been said about the Democractic Nomination and it’s candidates and the people that are associated with them. So much has been done in the form of dirty polictics and mud wrestling contest that I just don’t know. First off let me start by saying this, there’s a really good reason why the term “Separation of church and state” is so important when the founding father build this beautiful country, with the help of free labor of course. I know, I tend to veer off. The reason for the separation of church and state is because of three things: Money, Power and Respect. Please note that these 3 things are also the reason why countries go to war. Anyhow, that is the back drop of what they want you to see and beleive. Let me ask you this, if a man is a Christian and he runs for the governors office and is elected and has a job to do that he knows is wrong. Which one do you think he will pick, with his Christian morals in the back of his mind, he knows to be right and true or his job for the government that calls for him to go against everything has believes in and lives for? Well, don’t be suprised because it happens everyday and people do what they know is wrong, just for the sake of being accepted and honored by their peers. The facade of this great nation of our being separate from the state is nothing more than the glass ceiling of the American Dream. Sure they tell you this, but when it come down to it and you have to make clear and distinctive choice between your beliefs and you job opportunity, many people chose their careers.

I said all that to say this, once a person make that choice they have separated themselves from the flock and it is to be realized that your not the same person you were before. For example, the police officers Sean Bell verdict and case. They made a choice and when you look at those officers you may say “how could they put this as being racist?” Well, let me tell you a little something about people who takes oaths for office or career. Police officers, Military personnel, Jugdes, Attorney’s anyone who have to take an oath made a choice and pledge their legions to the state and not God. These people have been trained and groomed to perform such task as their jobs required. In the military you are broken down and build back up they way they want you to be. You lose all sight to what is right or wrong. Sure, 2 of the police officers in the case where of some type of African background, but that doesn’t mean that it still wasn’t racially motivated or that the stereotype of black males (racially profiling) didn’t come into play. Come on, you can’t seem to think that if that was a group of young white males that those cops would have shot them 50+ times. You really can’t believe that, can you. Well, some people do and my response to that is for those same people to show me a case where that did happen and I’ll show you police officers who are serving prison sentences. PERIOD.

In closing, don’t be fooled into thinking that there’s separation between the two foundations in which our country was build on Church and government because it’s not, if that were the case then a lot things that happen in this country the good Christians of back in the day wouldn’t have let certain things happen.

Isn’t a trip how something like a relationship can go from the sweetest thing in the world to the bottom of the barrel, hell hole and shit can.  It’s amazing how fast people feelings change because of current and past situations.  For example, having trust issues with your partner. This is one of the biggest barriers in relationships and always have been.  If there is no trust, then basically, there’s no relationship.  I know I might be sugar coating the title a bit, but hey I thought it fit because that’s how relationships are.  People tell you that they’ll never do this or that and low-n-behold the shit happens.  It’s crazy, it’s enough to drive a person to drink, like that’s really hard for me:).  However, for a change I have been through this before in my life, that’s why I have such feelings because I have been on both sides of the fence.  It’s a fact that what goes up, will most definitively come down.  I feel it’s up to the people involved to see if they can get through the tough times, but someone people just lose their freaking minds and do things to one another and ending killing all chances of getting the shit right, oops SugarHoneyIceTea (For real tho, trying to stop cursing because I got family reading my blog and I think that’s maybe why I haven’t heard from some of them in a while….. LMAO!!!)  Anyway, yeah this is craziness, but I guess it’s the sign of times.

On another note, I been trying to get that creative thinking cap back on and I’ve decided to ummmmmm start a Web Design business by myself.  The thing is I’m not very artistic and I don’t have a laptop.  On the artistic part, a person has to have some type of artistic view or capability in order to design things, don’t ya think.  As for the laptop, I don’t like sitting at a desktop pc because I do that already all day M-F and this business will be part-time and I need to be on the go and be able to work where ever and when ever I want.  So, if you have received an email from me concerning a free MacBook Air, don’t trip, trying to get it for free.  BTW here it is, I think it will work and many people have said so.

Destruction of the Family

Today, I blog with a heavy heart because I have experienced a tragic loss in my family. Yeah, I know everyone goes through this and when someone dies a lot of people are affected. Without going into too much detail because I’m still a little glazed over from all that’s happens in recent days. I want to talk about family and how it is being destroyed and torn down.

When I think of family I think of a group of people with the same blood line and blood that was married into the family “in-laws”. Family is suppose to be a part of a person life that is the foundation and the backbone of their existence. Sure, not everything is always all peaches and cream in family, but the overall feeling is that in time of need family is suppose to support and help each other.

So, my question is this. What the hell is going on with all the Fathers committing murder-suicides, single mothers killing all their children, kids killing their whole families? What is going on? I don’t know if this has been going on for long time or not and the invention of the information super highway has made it possible for things of this nature to be brought to the public eye, but every other week someone is LOSING it and killing up everyone. These are the sign of the times. I wonder what was the murder-suicide rate during the Great Depression? I know they had to be doing all kinds of things. What is the cause and effect of this type of desperation being committed by these individuals?

I believe there are many factors to it, but I will just name a few that I feel are huge. I blame society, yeah I know everyone blames society for everything. Can we be honest with ourselves for just once in our lives. Society has change a lot since the post-civil rights era and they say change is good, but at what cost. I think the beginning of the end was when our government took upon themselves to tell parents how to raise their children and when God and discipline was taking out of our schools. Our society took responsibility away from the one who were suppose to be in control in the daily aspects of children lives. Since that time has come and pass can you tell me what you see today as far as how that has helped us. Can you go into an urban school and tell me that has help. Can you tell the parents of the kids who lost their lives at school because some kid was picked on and bullied. Yeah, it’s just not urban areas, it’s all areas: urban, rural, middle class, high class don’t matter. We have became a society where we look at our government to give help and it’s is the root of the problems today, what happen to the days of helping ourselves? Are they gone too with the leaders who stood before the establishment and said somethings not right, here. Who, let’s see I can name a few right off hand: The Kennedy’s borther, MLK, Malcom X and they were all killed within a matter of years. What happen to that influencial person who could stand up for what’s wrong and fight for what’s right.

I feel things are going to get worse before they ever get better, let’s just hope and pray that we handle the long haul and not snap and break and do unthinkable things to our loved ones. PEACE!!!! Be safe.
