The Puppetmaster (crickets)

Here is something for your individual viewing pleasure.  I belive it’s time to put down the Kool Aid in Jim Jones fashion (NOT THE RAPPER) and wake up my people.  The honeymoon is over and we are in for very hard times ahead.  I’ve heard this saying being thrown around that the New World Order has a black face on it now.  Before, I would have fought tooth and nail disputing that and maybe even called someone a racist, but once you have knowledge of self and are constantly seeking truth things become a lot clearer.  Let me get this out there right now, it’s not about race, color, creed or origin.  It’s about class and where you are in the class structure means a whole hell of a lot in these coming years.  It’s about how much money you have, it’s about how much debt you have and it’s about the have and the have not’s.  If you haven’t notice the color of your skin doesn’t mean anything in the GLOBAL scheme of things.  We are in hard economic times here in the USA (and if we didn’t pay the kings ransom to the banks) it would have been a lot worse.  All those things promised to us has yet seen the light of day, why?  I have some ideas, but I want to here yours because mind may be too radical for your pleasure right now. When I talk to people about these type of things some look in amazement, others in disgust.  Pretty much like the way I looked when someone said that President was the Antichrist.  I looked at that fool is he was crazy.  Now, by no means am I saying he is now or has ever been, LOL.  But what I will say is that he is the gatekeeper and he is in the process of ushering in a New World for all to enjoy.  I can sit here and discuss pro’s and con’s with you all day, but just do two things for me.  Look up how many of our president campaign points has he follow-up on that was suppose to be beneficial to everyday American people.  You can’t count the bailout, not for American people, for bankers (oops, did I say that out loud) and you can’t say Health Care Reform because it’s a huge step toward this New World Order thing that  everyone has no idea about.  Just do some research for yourself, cut the tv off, put the iPod down and do your due diligent on research.  I mean I could point you in the right direction, but I think I’ve given you a lot of good starting points.  Here’s one of our president’s major campaign contributors, multi-billionaire George Soros.  Listen very carefully to what he says:

Hypocritical America…

I was reading an article on the disappearance of a child in Florida, here’s the link.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2009/10/20/national/a141848D48.DTL

When something tragic as this happens it is to be taking seriously and as normally I would read the comments.  Well, today I was reading the comments on the article and I noticed something, there were only 17 comments about the article.  I said to myself somethings not right because if this was an article talking about some black teenager getting shot to death, someone of ethnicity getting killed, or someone getting robbed and even for that matter a dog being tortured and kill there would have been 500-1000 comment on the subject matter.

So it got me to thinking about how as a society we allow double-standards in the way we view certain things.  Take the article above, now a child has been taken.  It could have been my child, your child or a friend’s child.  So let me ask you this where the lynch mob, where’s the people yelling and screaming for someone’s neck.  According to the article there are 75 sex offenders in a 5 mile radius around the little girl house that they say authorities have checked out or are in the process of checking out.  How come the community hasn’t already done that?  Well, the reason in a nut shell is that we as American’s are complacent and fickle in what we believe, which in turn makes us hypocrites in our beliefs and values as a society.

Now tell me how a can child go missing and all it gets is a headline here, a blurp on a news station, but let someone famous do something say like ummmm…. dog fighting and all hell breaks loose.  All the media’s attention from beginning to end, full coverage non-stop.  There are children who go missing everyday, but that’s not big news, right.

I did a blog about this type of thing before where I spoke about how we as American want to be entertained and not taught.  If I do a blog about something informational, that’s teaching my reader’s something, I will get a decent response.  However, when I do a blog where I’m showing my ass and clowning or talking about sex, relationship or anything entertaining the responses are numerous.  Why is that?  Why is it I can tell you to check out a good book that will teach you something and you will let it roll by the waist side, but if I say go pick up a CD or check out a blog talking about bullshit we will rush to that.  I think it’s because we have been “dumbed-down”.  We say one thing and then do another, we don’t know if we are coming or going.

When did we become so complacent and fickle, it was a time here in America that we the people didn’t stand for none it, we march, protested and boycotted everything in the ’60’s and ’70’s.  Did we get everything we were fighting for back in those days?  Civil rights, even though it’s better than it was back then, hell African Americans are still getting lynched, shot by off duty cops, drugged down the streets by pick up trucks.  Women Independence, well yeah women have a lot of rights, but they still are getting the short end of the stick.  The glass ceiling is right there, only thing is they can’t see it because it’s being cleaned everyday.  Oh Vietnam War, yeah that’s over and we spat on out vets that came back alive and it took 30 plus years to fully give them medical and financial coverage they need because of the war, hell most of them are living on the street right now as we speak.  OH, I’ll tell you what happen they flooded the country with heroin, cocaine and anything else they could to distract us from revolution.  To keep this thing they have here on a steady course, they drugged America and made us  so high to the point where we don’t have any more fight left in us.

Well, that’s all I have for now, but let me leave you with this.  I was watching “Sicko” by Michael Moore and he was interviewing a retired Parliament judge that said and I quote “The reason why we have free medical insurance here in France is because we will fight and protest until we get it, the government is scared of the people.  In America, the people is scared of the government”  When did that happen?

Searching for My Voice…..

Posted in Uncategorized on October 15, 2009 by bakerboi

Well hello all, I have had the damnedest time trying to find my inner voice and write something worth it’s weight in gold, but I have been a little on the down side because of all the things going on in my life.  I have been wanting to contact you all and let you know how things have been going, but I just couldn’t due to the fact that my emotions have been bottled up inside of me.

I know that writing you all now is starting to loosen whatever had its claws in me and I’m starting to let flow of energy I’ve had inside me for so long.  I have begun to second think myself and my topics I want to discuss with all of you, but I would say “they would like that, or they wouldn’t understand it”.  I know I shouldn’t be taking away credit from you guys.  I’m just feeling it out again, getting a taste for what I once was.  Before, I just didn’t give a fuck and let it all out.  Well, it seems that I hurt some folks along the way and that affected me in a particular way.  It made me feel like what I said or wrote had an effect on other peoples lives.

It was like the lightbulb going off and I started to think for good or bad I had to let the world know how I felt or at least the 10-20 people who follow my blogs daily.  I know I have lost some of you, but I promise I will be bringing back that real shit like only you know.  See, there’s a flip side to me not blogging about what I want to and caring about others people feeling and that is, if I don’t express myself totally and fully, then I will be on the losing side because all of those feelings and emotions will  be confined to the point of an explosion that I can’t control.  What people don’t know about me is that I love hard, I live hard and I will probably die hard and that’s not to say that I am hard.  If I love you, I love you 100%, If I dislike you it’s going to be 100%, there’s no in between.  So there it is on a silver platter and either you roll with it or get rolled over.  Damn, I’m coming around real fast, huh?  Peace.

Loyalty vs. Logic

Never give people control over you!

Never give people control over you!

Hey my people, hey my people.  Long time and I want to apologize for that, a lot has been going on in my life.  Ok, so let’s jump right into the subject Loyalty vs. Logic.  I posed this question to my Facebook friends over the weekend concerning their favorite football teams and the response was something you should expect, especial from die hard, live hard Raider fans.  However, I want to pose the same question to you, but in a different light.

We can all associate loyalty and logic with anything in our lives and your favorite football team on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, depending on who you’re talking to,  should not come anywhere close to 10.  OK, but in the grand scheme of things loyalty and logic are on the same level of importance with concerns to ones life, right.  For example, let’s say there’s a situation where your best friend is loyal to you, but is always getting not only himself in trouble, but you as well.  So how far does loyalty goes in that situation before it’s more logical for you to intervene and try to help or move out the way.  I guess what the question is this, how much hurt do you take before you say enough is enough and either we going to drown together on this ship or I’m jumping off this ride because I’m not willing to take it with you.

For me, I look at what has happened in the past and judge how things will go in the future.  I look back and see the things that took place and try to be loyal to that, in that instance.  Not adding to or taking anything away from that moment because it becomes not genuine and tainted.  However, as thing begin to build up and I’m keeping trying to get my point across more and more, the more it seems I’m talking to a brick wall and they are happy with their lives and I’m the one stressing over a happy person situation.  So that’s when I say PEACE, if you like it, I love it.  The reason being is because we can’t live our lives for other grown ass people who are doing what they want to do.  WE can only live our lives for our children and us and the Lord.  Period.  It is not logical to let yourself drown in someone elses happiness, meaning if they are happy being a drug addict, let them be the best drug addict they can be.  If they are happy being a hoe, let them be the best hoe they can be and don’t beat yourself up about because it’s their life.  It’s what they want to do, after you have done everything for them as your wife, husband, friend, uncle, aunt, cousin whoever, whatever.  You can try to talk to them to see the big picture all you want, but in the end know that they are there because they want to be and you can’t change a person outlook on things unless they want to change themselves.  I can’t sit back and beat myself up because I can’t make someone love me or love themselves.  Either love it or leave it alone.  And that’s when it’s becomes only logic for you to remove yourself from the situation, whatever it is.  The question is how much do you take before logic kicks you in the ass?  I guess it depends on how much you really truly love that person and it doesn’t mean you stop loving them, you stop loving them more than you love yourself.  Oh well, only time will tell and until we get a call from logic, I guess we all will be playing the fool.

New Music Review

Hey my people, how have we been doing?  Me, I’ve been good just enjoying the new music that has been coming out in the past month.  I picked up that new Maxwell joint BlackSummers’night and let me tell you for someone whose been out of the game for over 10 years, he came back with a smash.  If you can’t get none when you put his CD on, you are a lame.  I mean he does all the work for you and more.  Maxwell sets the mood, makes’ em feel good about themselves and and gently lays them down in pure Ecstasy.  What left is for you to finish the job and lala-bye that ass.  For Maxwell new CD I give it a 9 out of a 10 and the only reason it’s not a 10 is because it only has 9 songs on it.  I think he’s trying to do a trilogy with Blacksummersnight and make it a 3 disc installment.  Sound good to me, but with his material in my opinion he didn’t need a gimmick, the material speaks for itself.

Some of you might remember a couple of months ago I mentioned a new Hip Hop Super group by the name of Slaughterhouse which consist of Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Royce da 5′9” and Joe Budden which released a mixtape called The Art of Slaughterhouse which is one of the top five mixtapes of 2009.  However, Slaughterhouse is definitely one of the top three album releases of 2009 hands down.  If you are a true Hip Hop head and want to hear some good sounds please check out their self debut album Slaughterhouse where they take it back to tic-4-tac and let off a barrage of lyrical ammo from from the likes of Desert Storm I.  These guys goes in and hard on every track and leave it right there on the track at the end.  Don’t be fooled, the beats are are hitting, the lyrics will leave you wanting more and the overall delivery will have you spewing out obscenity’s to your co-workers, I give them a 9 out of 10 for this one.  Don’t sleep, check’em out.

It’s Been a Long Time, Too Long

Hey folks, long time no hear.  How have we been doing?  Sorry about the lack of communications on my part, I have been really, really busy for the past couple of weeks.  Well, I must say I have a wonderful topic for discussion today concerning an issue that most people don’t speak of, at least not in public.  For a  matter of fact, most people don’t have an understanding of the subject to successfully have a conversation about it.

As I was doing my daily blog viewing a week ago I came across this video title “Some White Guy Goes in on White People” which is the full video clip of his speech talking about the origins of white privilege.  Yes, you hear me correctly a white man giving a lecture to a mixed crowd on the origins and ignorance of white privilege.  Well, I’m here to tell you something Tim Wise breaks it down from beginning to end talking about the rise and the fall of society as a whole and the people who have been the captains of it.  If you don’t listen to, view or read anything I sent your way before, please, please view this lecture in it’s entirety and let me know what you think and how it affect you as a person in the minority or in the majority.  Here a sneak peek

Raw, Throw-back Footage of the GodFather, The King of Pop and the Artist

The King of Pop and the Artist

The King of Pop and the Artist

Hey my people, I was visiting my favorite blog (Bossip.com) today and I came across some footage that I didn’t even knew existed.  Here we have the Godfather of Soul introducing the then Young Prince of Pop, who then introduces the The Artist.  These three icons has shaped the last 50-60+ years of music and defined what an Entertainer should be.  It’s crazy to see how young they were and how much raw talent and energy they all were given out.  Like always, Michael was being Michael when he told James Brown to bring out Prince after he did he thing on the stage.  Always commanding the spotlight, but reflecting the shine to others.  Wow, is all I have to say to that.  When MJ starting singing, OMG that was the best it brought back so many thoughts.  That boy was talented, he was a mix of Marvin Gaye and James Brown, but do you know what had me rolling was when Prince was on dude back coming to the stage and threw his glove into the audience and someone threw it back.  Then, only in Prince nasty ass fashion took his jacket off and start doing his James Brown freak shit.  OMG, I damn near screamed because he was dead serious and you couldn’t tell him nothing.  Then at the end when he was walking off the stage he swung off the stage with the prop and damn near broke his neck and took someone’s head off in the crowd.  Classic material right here, LMAO.  Check it out.

How many time did Michael spin around?

Fashionably Catholic… (Crickets)

150px-Rosary_2006-01-16imagesWhoa Nelly, how are my TbTer’s (Truth Be Told family), yeah I just made that up.  I’m creative like that.  Hell, JD got Lifer’s (and yes, I’m one).  See, it doesn’t take much to become one, you just got to accept it and roll with it.  Like for instance Lifer’s and TbTer’s, these are not clubs per se , but more like ummmmm labels if you will.  You don’t go around screaming in public “Yo, I’m a TbT’er”, unless you could redeem some type of coupon and get you some free ice cream or something.  Would you?  If so let me know I can put something together because I always want to get more readers and make them into TbTer’s, sweet.

Anyway, back to the moral to this post, is it me or are there a large amount of people who are now Catholic.  I mean, I see tons of entertainers and athletes rocking Rosary beads chains with ice out crosses or rosary chain tattoo’s on their neck, arms, hand and feet.  This is what I call being Fashionable Catholic, it’s the 2009 version of the Kafeyah Scarf.  Dont’ get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with your religious preference, just as long as you believe in something greater than yourself, you cool with me.

However, what I do have a problem with is using certain aspects of one religion as a fashion statement and not knowing what’s the truth meaning of the piece as a whole as it relates to the religion.  It’s like the Star of David is in style now and you would see Muslims rocking it hard like it’s what they are suppose to do.  No, not acceptable, when will the line be drawn?  When will enough be enough, tends are coming back around now after 20 years with some little changes, but this is not it.  I remember rocking a Benz symbol back in the day and that was cool because not only did you steal the emblem, you had the nerve to rock it with a chain.  So hard.  Rocking Rosary Beads are not cool, millions of people take that religion very serious, just like other people do with all the other religions of the world.

I can’t front tho, the scarf and the beads do look cool, but does that mean I have to represent something that I’m not or disrespect my own religion by crossing over?  I think that’s the problem in a nutshell, people are not as spiritual or religion like they use to be, it seems now-a-day it’s all about getting yours and not really deciding or declaring what religion or spiritual road your are taking.  And that’s cool for you, but how is it going to be 50 years from now?  Will the line be drawn or will there not be a line on what’s acceptable and anything goes?  I think we’re headed for a different time and there’s a change going on.  More and more people are becoming open to what they once deemed to be against and accepting what was once out of the norm.  Is that good or bad?  I guess it depends on who you ask.

Too Much Going On!

Long time no see or is it no write.  Whatever, these past couple of days has been a trying time with the death of MJ and the apparent murder-suicide of Steve McNair and his jump off.  I am truly at a loss of words concerning the Steve McNair thing.  I really like dude as a player because he played his heart out every Sunday and left it on the field at all time.  Didn’t matter if he was hurt or not, he gave his all.  I wish I could say the same for him being a human being.  I’m not here to judge him because he’s not here to defend himself and I hate when blogs and other websites do that.  However, I will say the real victims here are the 4 sons and wife he left behind.

OK, let’s keep it all the way real.  This is not the first time, nor will it be the last time someone with fame and fortune cheats on their family with a mistress, secrete lover, jump off.  Men have been doing this for centuries and women may have been doing it longer and just never got caught.  Come on men, we keeping it all the way real, right.  Women are so much better at cheating because they know how to hide their intentions and cover their emotions and they are very careful in covering their tracks.  Hell, we as men wouldn’t never find out unless she wanted us to or we simple caught her out of pocket.  They’re good, real good.

Although, the above statements are true, but what happen during the lead up to and after is tragic enough and the end result is what happens when people play with other people emotions.  You can’t go around having people believe one thing and it turns out to be another.  We all are emotional people and that’s doesn’t justify what happen on the 4th of July in the McNair case, but hell people have been killed for a lot less.  If you are going to step out on your family make sure the person your stepping out with understands your situation so there won’t be any confusion later on down the line and the person is able to make a informed choice on weather to mess with your cheating ass or not.  That way, when 5 months down the line it comes out that your not getting a divorce or that your going to work it out with your family, it won’t come as a surprise and that person doesn’t want to blow your damn head off because they always knew it was a possibility you would do just that.  You can’t lead people on thinking you are giving them the world and end up giving them the shaft (pun intended).

We all have made mistakes in our lives, but no matter how big the mistake is, a person should not have to pay with their lives being taken and their loved ones paying a very heavy price down the road.  We never know what other people intention are, but we have to understand that we never truly know peoples motives and have to be careful who we let into our lives and be really careful on how we treat people, all the way around.

The Man Who Almost Crashed the Internet…

Michael Jackson then and now

Michael Jackson then and now

It is a very sad day for a huge group of people spanning across the global.  The death of Michael Jackson on June 25th, 2009 was unexpected and very tragic to say the least.  For those of you who read my blog regularly know that I did a piece on MJ and his family issue about a month ago.  Well, I’m here to say that in hind site I don’t regret what was was because it was the truth, but it never occurred to me that he wouldn’t be here for me to write another story about him like that.  I never thought I would be writing about his death a month down the road.  It’s unexplainable how I feel right now, on my Facebook page I wrote “Wow! I feel feel sad for MJ the man, not the celebrity. The price of fame and fortune is really, really great. It’s almost like the price of freedom by any means necessary we will work ourselves into the grave. R.I.P Mike your songs will live forever.“  I just wish it didn’t happen this way, I mean I never really thought MJ would live to get old and gray, but to go out like other legend’s of his time Elvis, Jimmy, and John B. would be a damn shame.

I really hope that MJ didn’t go out over a drug overdose that’s, let me ask ya’ll this:  If MJ dies from a drug overdose would that make his legend become even more than what it is already or would it put a permanent crease and wrinkle (no pun intended) on his legacy?  For me, it would damper my opinion for the simple fact of what the man meant to everyone.  His was a global figure, a role model of sorts, people looked up to him as the end-all-to-be-all in the entertainment world.  A drug overdose would send the wrong message like it’s cool to take drug and pop pills because MJ did it, Anna Nicole Smith did it, Pimp C did it, Elvis did it, Jimmy Hendrix did it  and it seems that all the people who make it in the entertainment business is on some type of drugs.  Don’t manner the kind, everyone is getting down on that illegal and legal substances and that’s not cool.  It’s sending the wrong message to our youth, wouldn’t you agree.

Anyhow, let me get to the title of this blog and the reason for me writing, let me ask you a question.  How many people does it take to crash the Internet?  One, and his name is Michael Jackson.  MJ did in death what no one could do living and damn near brought down the Internet world-wide.  Here’s the article from CNN.com.  Ok, well he almost took down the Internet, but that only leads to my position on how much he influence people around the world.  Also, did you know that in MJ’s lifetime that he sold 750 million records world-wide.  Can you imagine that, gold is 500k sold, platinum is a million record sold and diamond is 10 million sold.  He’s ass went Diamond 75 times.  Wow!!!!!  Can you by that?  Hell naw.
